Hour of CODE

Hey Students!
In celebration of National Computer Science Week (December 7 - 13, 2015), Alhambra High School is excited to be hosting one of the worldwide Hour of Code events.  As a registered participant, you will be joining tens of millions of students in over 180 countries who are curious about the exciting field of computer science.  No experience is necessary and the event promises to be a fun and informative one.  Here are the details:
The Hour of Code will be held on Wednesday, December 9 in the AHS Library from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm. 
  • You should bring a fully charged Chromebook to the event.  
  • All participants will be entered into a raffle to win one of 10 prizes that will be given away throughout the hour.  Prizes will only be given to participants who complete the entire Hour of Code (regardless of achievement level).
  • All participants who complete the Hour of Code will receive a personalized Certificate of Completion.
  • Find out about computer science learning opportunities starting both in the Spring semester and next year.
  • Refreshments will be served!!
